Each of you have a different major. What are some of the technology devices that you will be using in your career other then a desktop computer? Explain what they will be used for.
I am a criminal justice major and will probably be using excel and microsoft word. I am not sure what other devices I may be using in the field I have chosen.
In the Radiology career field I will be using a lot of technological devices. I will be using the X-Ray machine to take snapshots of the bones in patients. The computers will come into play when I need to save the images for the doctor's records. I am sure that I will need to use Microsoft Word to make notes on the patients if something is needed to be kept on record.
My field of study is criminal justice which i will use to pursue law school. As a lawyer, i will be using devices like hand held pda's, pagers, and office equipment. Also i will be using programs like access and excel as well.
My major is Criminal Justice. If I work in the Correction field, I will be using 2-way radios and maybe pagers for some communication. I maybe using the new video system, where trial cases can be heard without the prisoner leaving their facility.
My major is mining engineering. I will be used methane detectors, remote controled miners, and computers for printing out blueprints of the mines. The methane detectors are used for the miners safety. This is to pervent explosion and harmful enviroment. The miner mines the coal that runs the country.

In the CJ field i think the new video to the trial technolgy will greatly benifit the system.

I will also be using a laptop, not to mention I will be using EKG machines
